1995 Jeep Cherokee Wont turn over motor

All of a sudden when you turn the key, the electrical system comes alive-radio, lights, beeping- but the engine wont even turn over. Can you give me a suggestion on what to look for that might be the problem?

Hello, make sure the battery has a full charge and the cables are clean and tight on both ends. Have you tried cranking in neutral? There should be a starter relay in the power distribution center under the hood, you can do some testing there, any testing,make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
