I have a 1994 Rodeo V6 2WD. I am having a problem with it progressively getting hard to start until I finally have to call my mechanic to come haul it in.

When he gets it he cleans the plugs and it will start again for a while. He has done this 4-5 times now but has been unable to find a problem. He says that everything checks out OK.

The vehicle blows white smoke for 5-10 minutes after starting but then clears up and runs fine.

Possibly the Crank Angle Sensor, havent dealt with alot of LR's but I have seen that sensor go out in them and it is fairly inexpensive

Intake mainfold gasket most likely. There were problems with them
hope it isnt a warped head/head gasket
