Wanting to inspect a 1995 diesel 1hz 80 series that claims it has clogged injectors. Rust particles found in fuel tank.

Wanting to know if there is any way to check other parts of car like the engine and transmission before purchasing. They are asking $10,000.00 for it.

Thank you!

I would think twice about buying this truck, it has many miles on it and the injection pump could be going out and it may not have clogged injectors. But if you have your heart set, I would check the compression of the engine and check the condition of the transmission fluid. You can remove the fuel injectors and use compressed air to blow through them to check the flow. Also, I would drop the fuel tank and inspect the inside after removing the primary fuel pump. If you find rust or water flush the tank before reinstalling it. How does the engine run, does it pump a bunch of smoke from the exhaust system? If so, this is a sign of low compression and low fuel pressure (injection pump failure). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
