Infotainment system not working?

The radio in my vehicle is not working as well as the display screen, the screen will cycle on and off every five seconds only displaying a black screen. However, the backup camera will come on when in reverse but will again cycle on and off every five seconds. I have already checked the fuses and no luck?

Hi,

Chances are the software needs updates. You could contact a Nissan dealer to see if there are any notice, they have specific to this issue.

I was able to find several updates for the software.

Next, if the dealer is unable to provide help, what I recommend is to have the can-bus scanned for diagnostic trouble codes.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules in the vehicle are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing the codes. This is what I would suggest.

Because of the complexity of this system, the scan is where I would recommend starting unless there is a software update available.
