I bought a transfer case for the vehicle listed above and it has XU-T#2 and the one I took out has a XU-T#1 they both look the same. Is there a difference and would it work on my car?

Hey CHRISTIAN CABRERA,

Unfortunately I do not have the information here.

I would advise however that the best place for this interchange advise would be to contact a Nissan dealer and ask the question.

You are right to want to check the part numbers and ensure that it will work before fitting.

All the best with the repair.

Let us know what you find here, others doing this repair will find the information super helpful.

Regards, Joe

Hey Christian, did you found out if it worked? I have to replace my transfer and it's the XU-T#1 and I'm trying to find out if they are interchangeable in case, I find a #2. Thanks!

I just want to confirm what you are looking at with the picture below.

You mean the # 1 that is above the XU-T?

If that is the case then no, it does not matter. That is a manufacturing stamping, and an XU-T is what you need.

Let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
