2003 Hyundai Santa Fe How to replace Transaxle seal leak

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
I have a slow leak coming from the transaxle case just behind the motor. I checked the fluid level with the dip stick per the owners manuel. The car sometimes lurches backward when put into reverse gear. How do you replace this seal and is it a difficult task to do for average do it yourselfer

if the leak is between the eng and trans then this is difficult. if the leak is where the axle goes in then not so bad
