Hello,

What do you mean undersized there is no big problem with the controllers that I know of. What does the problem seem to be :)

Cheers, Ken

I read that 96 thru 99 chevy hvac controls diodes were not big enough to keep from burning and the replacements didn't last long either my problem is compressor won't kick on I can make it by using a paper clip at the Ac relay I've had 2 mechanics tell me they think it's the hvac control

Then it should be scanned for codes by a mechanic to see if the control actually is the problem. Try jumping the low pressure switch to see if a/c kicks on and see if lt/green wire in pic is sending power to switch finally see if power goes through the high pressure cut out switch. This is assuming Freon is in system and full. Check all fuses in pic as well.
