So, I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally pulled my transmission plug instead of my oil plug and let it drain until it was only slightly dripping, I did put the old fluid in an old jug and it was about 3/4ths full.

It will usually take about 4 to 5 quarts. This video will help:

Fluid Types

NOTE: MERCON Automatic Transmission Fluid is being replaced by MERCON V as a service fluid.

Automatic (4R70W) .................... MERCON V ATF

Automatic (4R100) .................... MERCON OR MERCON V ATF

NOTE: Automatic transmissions requiring MERCON V should only be serviced with MERCON V, or fluid from container that is specified as a dual usage fluid: MERCON/MERCON V.

NOTE: Automatic transmissions requiring MERCON can now be serviced with MERCON, MERCON V, or dual usage fluids labeled MERCON/MERCON V.
Capacities

A/T Fluid

4R100 .................... 15L (15.9 Qt)

4R70W .................... 13.1L (13.8 Qt)

NOTE: Approximate dry fill capacity. Fluid level should be set by indicator on dipstick's normal operating range.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
