Hello,
I went to start my car this morning and noticed the A/T light is on and when I put the car in drive, the D flashes on and off. When I checked the owner's manual, it says that the A/T light is on because the transmission fluid is hot. How can that be when I just turned the car on?
Thanks for your help!!

The A/T warning light is on and when I put it in drive, the D (drive) light flashes. Why is the A/T warning light on?

When the D light flashes, there is a problem with the powertrain. You have to scan for codes to diagnose the problem. It could be a faulty sensor or pressure switch.

Is the car safe to drive or do I need to get it towed?
