2000 Honda Passport Long time to start but eventually start

It can be the fuel pressure regulator but this item seldom fails.

If starting is difficult after resting for a while and performance is reduced from previous, the more likely fault would be a pressure leak along the fuel lines. It could be intank of which there would be no tell tale signs. You would need to remove the fuel pump to check.
