Hi, Honda Civic 2007, 41000km. After a long journey, there is starting trouble. Twice it failed to restart at signal. It happens only when engine is hot. Never had to try twice on first take in the morning. Never happened when car rests for few days. I dont think the culprit is battery. Can it be starter motor? Does the starter motor wear in this short time? Please help.

Often this condition can be traced back to a faulty crank or cam angle sensor, I would get a new one and go from there. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens. Mark (mhpautos)
