I have a 2002 honda civic lx 1.7 L with 97K clicks, since last 2 months the engine is making more noise and gives a bit of vibration on raise and feels as if it is strugling (during acceleration in particular between 1500-3000 rpm), once past 3000 rpm the car drives smooth. I changed the spark plugs it still did not helped. any suggestions?

What kind of noise are you getting? Is it more like an exhaust system noise? I would take some time to check the exhaust system. Drive the car up on a ramp and with the help of a friend have them hold a rag over the tailpipe to temporarily plug the pipe. You should be under the car noting where any exhaust leaks are. Start with that and while under there, examine the heat shields on the exhaust as well for any of them that might be loose.
