1995 Honda Civic oil light

Oil light comes on, I check the oil and add a quart of oil. The oil light goes out and comes back on again, I check the oil again its still ok, but the oil light is still on.

If the engine is running ok when the light is on then I would think that the oil pressure switch is faulty. When the oil light comes on its a indication of no oil pressure and if there were no oil pressure your engine would have seized by now.
