I just got this Honda and I knew it had some problems but I figured I could fix them or I could pay for someone else to do it - got a really good deal on it. Anyway normally the squealing is cyclical like it only comes from a certain revolution of the belt, I don't know if its the belt or a pulley or either. Today when I was messing with conditioning of the belt and the charging the a/c. When I had the a/c on there was no squealing at all but as soon as I turned the a/c off it was really loud. I didn't turn off the fan just the a/c. Any clue would be helpful.

Those a/c idler pulleys are known to fail, but usually they will grind or rattle a bit. If it's squeeling it's most likely a loose belt or a belt that needs to be replaced.

Thanks for answering, now is that somewhat easy to replace/tighten? I got the manual and I can't really find anything about that in the a/c section or engine section.
