how do I remove the rear door panel on a 94 civic dx?

I B-leive you mean rear hatch? There are screws along the bottom & on each end, under caps that you remove, then remove the screws. W/ special tool U-shape end , or small needle nose, find clip locations under panel, B-tween panel & shell , & "pop" them out. There are some screws hidden on door panel center useually also under caps. Use caution for clips easily broken & panel easily cracks. Once screws & clips removed, lift panel "up"& off. Good Luck !
