I have a 1998 honda accord 4 dr 5spd 4clydr. With a 100,000 miles on it. I am having trouble accelerating. I dont know if it is my tranny or what. But when I put it into gears it is like its just reving. Like it is in nuetral. It start going after 4000 rpm or so. But it still having problem accelerating. It does this in all gears. Im hoping is a minor repair. But can u guys tell me what the possible problem. And what I can do to fix it. Thanks very much

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. 100K, not too bad. When you get your new one, be sure they install NEW clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and pilot bearing(if applicable) some Hondas dont ahve the pilot brng. Dont let them talk you into remanufactured parts for less money, not worth it.
