1994 Honda Accord EX Passenger Door -

My Honda's passenger door continuously tries to lock (after its locked) when the alarm auto locks or the door lock button is pushed down. It makes a buzzing sound for about three seconds attempting the lock the door. I am thinking its the actuator but maybe a relay? What's your call?

The alarm its sending the signal to close.
But tahat signal its to long probably because there its two difernt types of actuators. Motor and solenoid motor need a litle bit more time to actuate and solenoids are instant.
You have to re-program your alarm in diferent way also they have a choice of self-arm by itself in certain amount of time.
I think you have to work with your programing.

It don't think it has anything to do with the alarm. When I manually push down on the electric lock switch it cycles through the lock mechanism (buzzing) for about three seconds.
