Okay, so I have an older Honda, but as everyone knows they never die. They are the best make of cars. They just simply last forever. So I am asking for help as I would love to fix up my older honda and get it back on the road. So its an 84 Honda Accord- with 454,000 clicks and still running fine. Although it has been sitting since 2003. When starting it, adn running for about 5 minutes or more, it begins to start smoking, it smells like a burning oil. Im just wandering what may be causing this, and where the leak could be comming from?

Also the gas accelorator, shoots out gas, how can I resolve that issue?

Is the smoke comming out the tailpipe? Is so it could be dried out seals from sitting so long. The oil rings could be frozen in place on the piston. After running thee car for a few days. Have the oil changed. Before having it changed add some engine cleaner in the oil to help clean it out. Read the instructions on the can. Some say only run the vehicle a few miles some say more. If the oil burning does not let up the
valve seal could have dried up or the oil rings clogged.
