92 Honda Accord ALT. Belt pulley question

92 honda accord. The pulley not on the alt. Or a/c but the one on the engine is there a set screw or something to hold that on? It's fell off a couple of times. It seems like there should be something there. Also when I turn my a/c on, it squeals bad. Any suggestions. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the harmonic balancer on the crankshaft. There is a bolt that hold that on with a key in the keyway. That must be secure for any of the other belts to work properly and be tensioned properly. You must ensure that the keyway is not hurt and the crankshaft keyway. The softest metal with be the harmonic balancer and I would not be surprised to find that it is bad and would need to be replaced.
