1999 Honda Accord EGR CODE PROBLEMS

I have a 1999 Accord, and just recently had the check engine light come on. Got the codes read and it was p0401. So I replaced the egr and still have the code. Am I missing something? Any help? Thanks.

Did you reset your computer after the new unit is installed?

Yes I have erased the code. And still comes back.
