SO where do I start. I was getting an egr valve mailfunction. Replaced egr valve, no change. Removed and cleaned upper intake manifold, cleaned egr port, removed fuel rail and injectors cleaned them. Put everything back together. Started the car and it runs like crap. While in park it idles fine but when I give it gas its like there is a delay for engine to revup, then it stalls. If I hold the gas on at about 4000 rpms it goes to 4k then jumps to 2k and back and forth. I thought it might need to burn off some carb cleaner but its been doing it for sometime now. Any help would be great.

Hi yankees_1977,

Get a compression test done to check if cylinders are within specs.
Check the vlave clearances.
Check the Throttle position sensor.
Check fuel pressure.
Check spark plugs and related components.
Check ignition timing.

Thanks for the response.I when back to check my work and I found that the o rigs on the fuel injectors 2 and 3 where all messed up(manifold side). I get the parts tomorrow and I was woundering if there is a good way to install the injectors so this dont happen again. Can I put some oil on them so they go in easier? Should I put them in the manifold or the fuel rail first?

Either way can be done but some rubber grease would help to slide the O rings with no pinching. While installing, twist the injector while pushing in to get them to seat easier.

Before tightening the the fuel rail, twist the injectors slightly either way to ensure all injectors are seated correctly.
