1999 Honda Accord Car Jumps When on Idle

Hi

I recently have noticed that my car jumps when on idle. I notice it does it a lot more when my AC is on. When I shut it off it does the same thing however not as much. It almost feels like the car is going to shut off. FYI: My check engine light is on.

Scan your engine light, this will most likely give you the answer. It may be not related though.

Typically a surging idle is due to a faulty/dirty idle air control valve.
