I bought a used Accord 1998. The clutch was changed at 80,000 miles. It now has 110000 miles. When releasing the clutch it has to be released until almost all the way out. Does this mean I have to replace the clutch so soon? The clutch does not slip.

Hi there,

There is no adjustment on these clutches, but at 30,000 odd mills this should be not having any problems, I feel that may be the pivot pin in the bell housing is worn, this will up set the through of the clutch, I think that you will be able to drive it for some time, just get the hydraulic system checked out just to be sure all is ok there as well, but I feel it is more a mechanical issue rather than a hydraulic one.
