1997 Honda Accord how can I start the repair?

I noticed the temperature gauge was flutuating when I was driving, when the car stopped there was small amout of smoke came from underneath the hood
when I openned it I found there is a steam of vapor coming out of the joint where the coolant tube goes into the engine

Hi yixter,

Seems the hose is bust and requires replacement. Inspect the hose for cracks. Top up coolant and check if coolant is leaking from the hose.

Hope you have not damaged the head gasket.

Indeed it was a cracked hose, I bought a new hose, two clamps and a small packet of grease from autozone (total cost < $20)

replace the hose is very easy, add coolant/H2O afterwards and the problem is solved
