1997 Honda Accord Automatic 151000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have been having some problems with the cooling system in my car. I've flushed it, replaced the coolant checked for leaks and nothing. It would be fine for a few days but then in traffic or sitting at a light the temp gauge would rise to almost red. Then my speedometer and mileage meter just failed and you can clearly see that something is leaking underneath my car. Any ideas?

Hi there,

The first thing to do is to identify the leak, have a cooling system pressure test done, this will identify any coolant leak. Next replace the thermostat and may sure that the cooling fan is operation when the temp rises.
