I have a 1995 Honda Accord, V6. When I start my car and put it in D3, or D4 it wont move at all and when I push the gas peddle it just revs the engine. In order for me to be able to use D3 or D4 I have to start the car put it in eather D1 or D4 and get my speed up to around 25 mph before I can put it in and use D3, and D4. If I have to stop at a stop light or sighn, I have to use it like an automatic and lower it to D1 or D2, and again have to speed up to 25 mph before I can use D3 or D4. I have enough transmition fluid in it, and it isn't leaking anything at all, and I don't want to get a new transmition unless that is my last option, can anyone help?

Does the transmission fluid smell bert or is it a dark color? If it is change the transmission filter and fluid.

Well when I was driving it, I could smell some kind of burned fluid but couldn't figure out what it was and my car was smoking a bit, so I let it cool down and then I didn't have anymore smoke. Should I try getting my transmision flushed?

Take Ritzel's advice. Check the fluid first, then proceed with the flush, fluid and filter change. Make doubley sure that the correct Honda fluids are added.
