The problem I am having is the brake pedal goes to the floor and then it is like the system charges back up and there is no problem. Checked fluid and it is fine and also checked brake pads and lines all are fine. Really don't know what to do. Too many vehicle problems all at one time!!!

Hello,

There are few reasons why the pedal can go to the floor. One is when there is air trapped in the brake lines. Another common one is having a faulty master cylinder and it is just not able to create pressure as you press the pedal.

Make sure there are no leaks in the brake system. Check each caliper and all the hoses.
Bleeding the brake could be a good first step.

If the issue exists after the brake bleeding and there are no leaks, then it is likely a bad master cylinder and needs to be replaced.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
