The noise comes from the right front of the car. It sounds like metal grinding. It makes a noise when turning, dirving straight, or just getting in and out of the car. I can push down on the right-front side of the car and produce the grinding sound. It was not so bad when the weather was cold, but now it has gotten worse. Do you have a diagnosis and a rough cost estimation?
Thanks,
Embarrassed Driver

Hi Brian,

You have a bad ball joint some where and it could be:
1. Lower arm ball joint.
2. Upper arm ball joint.
3. Steering rack end.
4. Tie rod end.

The cost would depend on which item needs to be replaced.
