1990 Honda Accord

My speedometer started working fine then it increased faster than it should, then the needle pointed straight down and now it wont move at all.

Hi mpearson20,

Seems the Vehicle Speed Sensor is faulty causing the erratic speedometer operations. If the needle has overshot and is pointing to the bottom, you need to turn the needle backwards towards zero to make it work again.

As to the erraric running, most probably a VSS change would fix the problem.
