Hi there,

Is this coolant or trans oil?

If coolant you will have to get the cooling system pressure tested, as the radiator sits well back off the engine , if there is fluid leaking at the bottom of the radiator i would be thinking a lower hose or a leaking radiator. If trans oil check the two trans cooler lines as they do come loose.

thanks u so so much for the reply ii dont think it the raditator the leak is comin from under neath the motor on the bottom an i cant find any leakage near the radiator at all. i cant tell if any hoses come of I not sure really what to do other than take it my local mechanic who i think is a bit dodgie as i havent a clue about cars other than puttin water , coolant, oil etc so if i have a rough idea to what it may be i can fill him in an he will no i not a cluess woman after all lol but a big thanks to u for replying . : )

Just ask for a cooling system pressure test to be done, and ask for a report & quote, go get a second opinion if you want, this test is quick and simple and will locate any external coolant leaks.
