The best way to check for vacuum leaks is by injecting smoke and watching for escaping smoke. Also the best way to spray around with carb spray method is to watch short term fuel trim and watching to spike while spraying around. Also did you check the coolant temp sensor? They can go bad not set a code and cause a high idle.

So did you watch the coolant temp on live engine data while comparing the coolant temp to actual coolant temp?

Thru years of experience with coolant temp sensor issues I have seen really strange things you wouldn't think they could cause but your proven wrong lol. Glad to hear you found the problem and got it all back to normal again.
