Hello,

I have the LE model and the headlights seem to give me an issue. The car itself will not turn on due to the lights. In order for the car to turn on, I have to play with the light switch. For example; in order to turn on the car, I turn on the headlights (high lights, not the high beams), turn the ignition on and immediately turn the lights off in able to get the check engine light on and as soon as I do this the car turns on. The car will turn off if I turn on the lights, but for some odd reason the car will stay on with low beam lights. Everything works fine (A/C, radio, etc) while the car is on but the only issue is when the car is on and I turn the lights on the car shuts off.

I have swapped computers to see if this was the issue but it was not. It is indeed the lights. I was in an accident and had to replace my left headlight, could it be that the mechanic installed the light wrong?

Thank you!

I would recommend checking grounds. Check to make sure the body grounds from the battery to the inner fender. Watch this video to see how to check.
