Grinding noise when the engine is started

Grinding noise when the engine is started and has run for a short time there is a grinding noise. I am wanting to remove the serpentine belt and check the pulley's to see if one of the pulley's is needing replaced.

Without hearing it for myself, I would take an educated guess and say it could be your starter motor dragging.
