1999 GMC Suburban V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic

my 199 GMC suburban wont start. Paid a guy to come out and do diagnostics. Told the security system is shutting down the engine. HOW DO I OVERRIDE OR FIX THIS PROBLEM SO I DON'T HAVE TO HAVE IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP?

Wow thats a tough 1. Is it an after market or factory security system, After market system only.I dont know exactly where the wiring is for it but the small wire that goes to your starter solenoid will be split and wired into the alarm, you have to find that wire and disconect it and reconect the wire to the starter.
