My heat stopped working both front and rear, blows cold. I replaced the correct thermostat, flushed the radiator, still no heat. Previous to replacing the thermostat, the old one registered about 150-170 degrees all day long. After replacing with a new 195, it still registers same 150-170, still, no heat.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

Your heater core may have gotten clogged up or failed. Find the two hoses leading to heater core through the firewall, under hood. After engine has warmed up and with heater on high setting, feel the two hoses. Both should be warm to touch at this point. If only one or neither are warm this will indicate a faulty heater core.

Let me know what you find and I will follow up.

Thanks for using 2CarPros. Com!
