i have a 1998 sonoma one night it got really cold here I got up the next morning and cranked it up and came back in I went out about 20 minutes later and got in and it was still ice cold in the truck my gauge was at 210 when I got on the road it dropped to zero the truck then died a mechanic came and looked at it and said it jumped time I pulled the plugs and there was no water in the cylinders the mechanic came and put a timing chain on the truck we tried to spin it over but im not getting any fire im getting fuel we changed out what should be the crank sensor but the parts house called it a cam sensor but im still not getting any fire I can pull a plug wire off the coil and get a good blue spark any help would be gratefull thanks

If you are getting spark then it's eitehr out of time or not getting fuel. Check your compression and if they are on the low side, then you cam may be out of time. Your cranks sensor should be down by the oil pan there really should be an engine code given though if it won't run unless it's a primary ignition problem. Or also check to see if you fuel filter is plugged, especially with the cold weather, it could have ice in it prventing fuel from going to injectors.
