This has happened several times. As I'm driving down the road at a steady speed on 60mph, the speedometer starts decreasing even though I'm maintaing same rpm along with traffic. The farther I go, the speed shown keeps decreasing and got to "0" several times. When I stop, the speedometer resets and normal speed in indicated for awhile. Could this be a "speed sensor" problem?

your speedometer is going bad Icve also experienced the same problem. Your best bet is buying a new one. Its simple to swap out you just have to take off the dash trimk & the gauge cluster inplace with a couple of screws & unplug it from the back. When you geet the new one make sure its the same one. You could get one from an '03 to '06.
