I'm driving a savana3500 box truck. 150 miles into my trip the truck shuts off. I pull over to the right shoulder and crank the ignition but engine would not turnover. I walked over to an auto shop and purchased a fuel filter. When installing the filter I only connected the line that goes to the fuel pump. I then turned the ignition key and fuel did spurt out. Fuel pump seems to work. I then connected the other line on the filter, cranked the truck but nothing again. I checked the relay box, all seems well. Truck cranks, but engine seems to not get any gas. Someone said the problem cold be electrical. Any help will be appreciated very much. I'm stuck here in the middle of nowhere hoping to get the truck moving.

Hi
Check for spark? Do you have tools? Test light? Meter?

I did. Also changed ignition coil, but nothing. Ended up renting a hotel. Tomorrow i'm replacing the distributor module. I'm not getting any sparks. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
