Oil is burning in 1996 Buick Riviera
I have a Buick Riveria, 1996, with 140,000. Oild is changed every 3,000 miles religiously. Burning oil. Not losing oil. Every 1,000 or so miles, I am a quart low. Occasionally, you can smell the oil burning. What is the issue?

Check for external oil leaks, repair as needed to recheck, if the problem continues you may have a broken piston oil control ring.
