1996 Other GMC Models not starting
Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Other GMC Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 113000 miles
i have a 96 gmc catering truck.it has a 4.3 vortec v6.its not fuel injected, its throttle body injection from the way it looks.the fuel pump kicks on,but it doesnt start.i poured a little gas down the throttle body and it starts no problem, seems like theres no fuel coming to the engine,i dont know if theres a fuel relay of some kind,i really have no idea why fuel isnt getting to the engine.if you have any ideas or advice on whats wrong,id really apreciate it.

Your first step is to use a fuel pressure gauge and find out exactly what the pressure is. If the pressure is normal (9-13PSI), then you have to use a noid light to test for injector pulse and power supply.
