Fuel problem

My van pontiac transport 1996, 86000.00 miles. I couldn't get it to start so I changed the fuel filter that is right after the tank and it started right up. After about ten minutes it died and after sitting for awhile it will start but it will not go because when you give it gas it will die. Is there another filter I can change. When I take the hose off the filter it has gas flowing out so I know the fuel pump is working. Can you help?

Fuel pump may be working, but weak.
Crimped fuel line betrween engine and filter.
Vacuum leaks are a common cause.
Any sensors that manages air flow and temp should be checked.
Fuel pump pressure should be checked.
Fuel pressure regulator could also be a culprit.
Diry or faulty injectors.
