i'm having starting my pickup. Ihave replaced ignition modules on the distributor 5 times in the past year. Also, some of the times that I have had problems starting this truck, I have had to give the intake a shot of starting fluid. It usually starts right up. If it doesn't then I replace the ignition module and then it's fine for 6to 8 weeks. I like the truck and have been driving it for almost 20 years.A newer truck is not an option right now due to my current economic situation. Will you please help me solve this problem?

I have had to give the intake a shot of starting fluid. It usually starts right up. Sounds like a fuel issue-Do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key on? If so check the fuel pressure and make sure its within specs and comeback with the readings for evaluation
