I have a 1996 geo tracker I just bought I drove it fine the 1st day I got the car the next morning my wife drove it to work and on the way home it started going to about 2000 rpms and it wont go over and runs about 15 mph I have changed the plug, wire, dist cap, rotor button put a new fuel filter on it it only does this when the car seem to warm up. About 15 min after driving it will do this plz help

Use a electronic cleaner CRC and clean the mass air flow sensor and test the throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensor-to inlcude ignition timing check

Kk I tried the crc cleaner and tested the tps and map sensors everything seem to be in running order checked the timing and seemed to be right im lost on this plz help

Check the fuel pressure and also check exhaust system for restriction

I am having a "warmn funny feeling" that it may be a transmission issue. Does it sound like it is winding high (high acceleration) when it happens? Or just struggling (working hard)?
