My park is my reverse my neutral is my drive and my drive is my park. When it’s in the park position and allows me to go into reverse, when it’s in the neutral position I can drive and when it’s in the right position is when the car is parked.

Hi Shari,

This sounds like the gear selector is out of adjustment. The selector may be showing that you are in a specific gear but if it is out of adjustment then it will not show it accurately as you are experiencing.

I attached the most detailed description I could find for your vehicle, but unfortunately I have never done it on your specific car. So if you are not familiar with this, a mechanic can look at it and figure it out pretty easily. They are not complicated to do, I just would need to be looking at it to actually figure it out.
