After being parked for a couple of days, I went to start my car by unlocking the doors with the key fob, a humming/whining sound was coming from under the hood and would continue for about 5 minutes. I drove the vehicle for a few miles where I didn't get any warning indicators or experience any loss of power. When I parked the vehicle the sound continued for about another 15 minutes.

Hello, I'm Danny.

When it comes to noises or squeaks what we ask you to do is use your cell phone to make a video of the sound and upload it here. If the sound starts before driving and remains on after parking then you should be able to capture the sound. Just use your phone to scan under hood around the engine to help locate the sound. Get back to us after making a video and we will help diagnose. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
