Towed it home I found that the pump was not getting power. I went straight to the battery the pump came on. When I crank it over it turns faster than normal making me think it might be the timing belt it was changed less than 40,000 miles ago. I took a peek inside. The belt is still going around the pulley. I've checked all fuses. Also switch to relays still nothing.

If this engine cranks faster than normal then that is a sign of no or low compression.

So, let's start right there.

Here is a guide that will help with checking the compression but let's check it on a couple cylinders just to be sure. However, if the first one you check is zero then we know what the issue is.

Just because the belt is still on the pulley doesn't mean that it isn't stripped or there is a pulley issue.

So, let's start with this and go from there.

Thanks
