My fly wheel was cracked on my van I took it to a local shop to be fixed. (12 miles away) When I went to pick it up the guy told me it was good to go except it was now leaking transmission fluid. He said he would fix it (seal) for a deal 1/2 off labor if I wanted. It already costed me $500.00 for what he did. I said I couldn't do it today and he said not to drive it very far cause it could start a fire. Nice don't you agree! I was about 5 miles from home and I lost my ac, speedometer, ABS light came on, and odometer went out all at the same time. I called him up and he advised me that he had nothing to do with the other stuff that just happened. He said he wasn't anywhere near that kind of stuff. Sounds electrical to me I asked him if I should bring it back to him and he said no its not his problem. I was told by a dealership that it is very possible that this guy could have pinched my wires. What are your thoughts? My van won't even start now. Help got 4 kids & no working car.

Very possible he could have pinched them, shorted them, accidently disconnected, but the way he soudns he did it on purpose.

With the trasmisssion leak he has to fix that for free since it should have been done right the first time.

Take it to another shop and have them do the labor and see if you can have him pay the bill or take him to court if its worth it to get him to pay for it if it is found to be his fault.
