How do you remove the ignition switch on my 1986 thunderbird Elan. I have removed the switches on the opposite side of the column, however I cannot locate the bolt heads for the ignition switch. Thank you.

I was trying to remove the electrical switch. The cylinder is easy, it just requires you to push in the button just below the cylinder. I was able to remove the switch with a pair of pliers to grab the special bolts that hold the switch. My problem was, I have never seen those special bolts before, and they looked like the threaded end of a bolt, so I was trying to find where you access the bolt heads, then after investigating, I discovered that those were the bolt heads I was looking at! Very strange bolt, it looks like a theft deterent type of fastener. I can't thank you enough for your response, and I will make a donation in the near future, and I will tell my friends about your website, it is very good. 8) :D
