'95' Thunderbird starting problem

It is a 95 thunderbird with a v6 engine and around 100,000 miles on it. After the car has run for awhile when you shut it off the engine will not start again for a few hours.

Sounds like it maybe a sensor gone bad.

I'm with Rayhut. Sounds like a bad crankshaft position sensor. Does it have spark when it does not start?

Do you hear the fuel pump running when the key is first turned to the on position?

Yes the fuel pump is running. I am starting to suspect the problem may be with the ECM unit and I am taking it to be checked out.
