The cables (engine to battery) hooked to the negative side of the battery would come loose. But a few days ago, the 'battery light' came on. Two days later, while driving, I felt a loss of power. Minutes later, the car was dead. The light would come on barely, so would the music, but only a click would be heard when I tried to jump start it.

I replaced the battery, and the car started fine. However, the 'battery light' was still on. Three days later, the same thing happened again however. The light of the car is on, but only a click can be heard.

According to the owners manual: "This light indicates that your battery is not being charged and you need to have your electrical system checked."

My assumption would be that your alternator is out. They are around $180 at any auto parts store, and are not too hard to change.

Good luck,
Ryan
